# Does the airbag restrict the rider’s movements?

No, all airbag vests are designed to be as **lightweight and ergonomic** as possible. When deflated, they do not restrict the rider’s range of motion in any way.
During a fall, the airbag inflates instantly to provide protection. After deployment, it may temporarily limit movement until it fully deflates.
