# Are payments secure?

Yes, all transactions on our site are **100% secure**. We use Payplug, a trusted online payment specialist, to process payments safely. Transactions are further protected by **3D Secure**, which verifies the cardholder’s identity and **protects you against fraud**.

3D Secure is a mandatory security step for online payments. During checkout, a verification window appears to confirm it’s really you making the purchase. Usually, your card and account are linked to your phone, so you’ll receive an SMS with a code to enter on the site or a prompt to approve the payment via your banking app. Once confirmed, the payment is secured, validated, and your order is confirmed.
